Heather Hornberger is originally from the states….born in Washington, but raised in Indiana and Utah. She loves the phrase, “Bloom where you are planted!” and is happy to have been planted in the beautiful province of Alberta, on an acreage near Cardston, where she lives with her husband, Harold and their 11 children. From the inspiring faces of her children she has discovered a great love for portraiture. Her goal in painting is to capture the light that is in each of us, as it states in the Bible, John 1:9 “The true light, which lighteth every man that cometh into the world.” She paints primarily in Watercolor, as a means to the end of this goal.
She received a Bachelor of Visual Arts degree from Brigham Young University in Provo Utah in April of 2003. Her work can be viewed online at:
